1997 News Release

Author's Bed & Breakfast will offer on-site publicity, writing and office services for writers, authors, speakers

In May 1997, Toronto freelance writer/broadcaster Andrea Reynolds re-opened author's Bed & Breakfast in a new location to visiting authors, speakers, editors, publicists, illustrators, agents, book sellers, publishers and librarians. Her private home offers bed, bath, breakfast, and business services; and is near downtown radio and TV studios, magazine and newspaper publishers, and Toronto's business district.

Guests have access to 2
fax machines, 2 computers that accept Apple and PC files, 2 printers (laser and colour), and a portable copier. Guests can even do late-night research at the Toronto Public Library and Metro Toronto Reference Library by dialing into both systems' online catalogs and receive email through the host's internet provider. Cookbook authors can use the kitchen for food preparation for live and TV demonstrations, and women traveling alone can feel safe and secure.

Not only is Andrea a friendly, helpful guide in an unfamiliar city – she's the author of
Romantic & Playful Toronto – she can book you on a program, get you to the TV or radio studio on time, and, as a broadcaster herself, give you practical suggestions for a great interview.

The home's cosy conversation area works well for press interviews and a conference table which seats 10 can be used for seminars and breakfast/lunch meetings.

Business travel can be tough on a person, so at Author's Bed & Breakfast your physical comfort is a top priority, from a comfortable bed to a tasty breakfast. Your spirit is fed with gentle music, fresh flowers, books everywhere, interesting conversation, and if you like, a purring white cat by your side.
Prices per night (single: $60-75, double: $75-85) include bed, breakfast, and shared bath or private bath. 7% GST is added. Request a brochure by phone (416-xxx-xxxx), fax (416-xxx-xxxx) or email (andrea@xxxxxxxx.net)
